Homework    Simulator    Contesting

There are several steps necessary to use this software.

  1. This software runs on a Intel computer running a windows operating. I use a notebook with a Pentium processor, but that probably an overkill.
  2. The computer needs to access a NEMA-183 GPS signal. This can be from a hand held GPS with a computer interface cable.
  3. The software needs a contest route to follow. This is input to the software in the form of a text based file (Race.dat) that contains position and timing information for each leg of the contest.
  4. The user needs to know how control the program usually learned through a contest simulator.
  5. The software needs some setup just before the contest start to get the position of the starting line and the correct time.
  6. After that, just follow the steering and speed suggestions of the software and have a good contest.
