Homework Simulator
Contesting
There are several steps necessary to use this software.
- This software runs on a Intel computer running a windows operating. I use
a notebook with a Pentium processor, but that probably an overkill.
- The computer needs to access a NEMA-183 GPS signal. This can be from a
hand held GPS with a computer interface cable.
- The software needs a contest route to follow. This is input to the
software in the form of a text based file (Race.dat) that contains position
and timing information for each leg of the contest.
- The user needs to know how control the program usually learned through a
contest simulator.
- The software needs some setup just before the contest start to get the
position of the starting line and the correct time.
- After that, just follow the steering and speed suggestions of the software
and have a good contest.
